About us

Youth leadership program to practice critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

We are a group of parents and community members who love our children and would like to help them to be able to communicate effectively and think critically. Especially, now that our children live in an environment that is saturated with information like never before. Critical thinking is the foundation of classical education. It is a long-lasting life skill, that has proven to help people to overcome obstacles in life and be successful or happier.

We believe that all children, regardless of their race, culture, socioeconomic status, or gender, are equally precious, and each one of them is blessed with unique talents and skills. We need to bring them up to reach their best, by training them to think critically, to analyze every option, to be able to draw the best conclusion, and to present it civilly. Yes, we also teach public speaking and presentation ! Our students will learn how to communicate with confidence and excellence, how to present their thoughts, to tell a story, to speak persuasively, and professionally, it is more robust compared to a debate class program.

The format of our class is a mix of individual presentations using Toastmasters International techniques and a Socratic group discussion. This allows students to learn leadership, self-confidence, and the ability to exchange or discuss different opinions in a civil manner.

Our coach and guest speakers are retired professionals from many disciplines, and small business owners, experience in teaching and working with young adults. Most importantly, we are parents, and community members, who are passionate about helping children, face the new era of abundant information around them, by equipping them with critical thinking and excellent communication skills.

Critical Thinking is the kind of thinking - about any subject, content, or domain – that improves itself through disciplined analysis and assessment. Analysis requires knowledge of the elements of thoughts; assessment requires knowledge of standards for thought.
