Youth leadership program to nurture positive self-confidence and kindle critical thinking skills
Students will learn real-life skills, such as how to think critically, present compelling speeches using Toastmasters International techniques, and prepare basic business plans, and presentations. This leadership program will complete what is lacking in the current education system.
Who is eligible to participate?
Middle and High School students, aged 12 to 17. Due to the limited seats available, it is a first come, first served basis Class meets on 2nd and 4th Saturdays, 10 am - 12 pm
FITS BIZ Youth Leadership Program
FITS BIZ program is a year-round program, divided into 3 sessions. It is tailored for students between the ages of 12 to 17 years old, with parent’s involvement in the showcase portion toward the end of the program.
Programs and classes are designed to nurture positive self-confidence and kindle critical thinking skills. The students will learn lasting life skills such as business planning, and presentation, conducting meetings, and presenting compelling speeches using Toastmasters International Youth Leadership techniques.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in the local youth Toastmasters/Gavel Club contests and local business showcases.
Youth Leadership and Plan Your First Small Business Program - for Teens
We expanded our class this year, due to requests from parents and the community. This program is a year-round youth Leadership program, that is divided into Spring and Fall sessions.
The program will cultivate critical thinking by teaching to prepare business presentations and coordinate showcases, learning to lead a meeting, learn to communicate with confidence and excellence using Toastmasters International Youth Leadership techniques. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1924, and it’s headquartered in Englewood, Colorado. It has 270,000 members in 150 countries!
This program will incorporate the Montessori teaching method and the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (TYLP)/Gavel Club techniques.
Our main program mission is to instigate creativity, innovation, and critical thinking skills, and learn how to communicate with confidence, and effectively in a fun and supportive environment.
